Hujan deras yang melanda Kabupaten Sukabumi membawa bencana Banjir Bandang, Longsor dan Pergerakan Tanah yang berdampak pada ribuan masyarakat di Sukabumi, Jawa Barat mengungsi akibat rumahnya yang rusak.
Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Sukabumi mencatat total ada 166 titik bencana alam yang terjadi. Secara rinci, tanah longsor terjadi di 66 titik, banjir 35 titik, angin kencang 15 titik dan pergerakan tanah di 17 titik.
Update dari BPBD tanggal 7 Desember 2024 ditemukan 8 orang meninggal dunia, 4.892 Jiwa Terdampak Bencana, 4 Jiwa Hilang, 2.678 rumah rusak dan terendam dan 79 sarana umum rusak.
Ribuan orang terdampak banjir saat ini membutuhkan bantuan mendesak seperti : terpal. alas tidur, selimut, hygent kit, makanan siap saji, makanan balita, kebutuhan wanita, air minum, kendaraan respons, air bersih dan baby kit.
